Because of this cars history it has little rust for a nearly 40 year old car. Typical spots had minimal rot (battery area, rear wheel arch/rockers). Everything else was in very good condition. The floors are immaculate and look like new. A body of mine and I made the the trip up to New York to check out the car. Long drive, but well worth the trip! Nothing like a road trip with a good friend to check out a car!!
The seller had done a rough tune up to get it running. We took it for a rather brief test drive. We made it nearly around the neighborhood before it stalled out. Little car... still hard as shit to push for three blocks!!!
I had the car shipped back home and did minimal work to it. New exhaust, Pertronix ignition, headers, a new set of carbs, and a xenon air dam. Typical newbie stuff!!
Plans have changed several times over the years. I went from keeping it stock and restoring it, to doing a turbo swap, to JTR SBC swap, and now to the final plan of a LS1/T56.
I'll do my best to post what I can remember from the beginning to my current progress. Enjoy!
